If you live someplace like me, you get to experience all four seasons. Living Life Seasonably simply means embracing them and being mindful of all they have to offer.
Mindfulness is “the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.”
I don’t claim to be an expert on this topic by any means. However, nothing allows me to be more mindful of my surroundings and more conscious of my day-to-day life than living seasonably; pumpkins in the Fall, snowmen in the Winter, flowers in the Spring, and sea shells in the Summer.
I find that by living seasonably, I have grown to discover a healthy sense of time. Months rarely seem to “fly by” because I remember how long it took me to decorate, set up for the season, etc. In opposition, months don’t really seem to “drag on” either because I always have something to look forward to which keeps life moving. This allows me to feel like I am living mindfully.
